PRELUDE
bagologolo is the word derived from sePedi language in South Africa meaning the great wise people of the past generations. It is the classic oxymoron proposition that bagologolo Global System and Logistics (Pty) Ltd and bagologolo Global Systems and Logistics LLC (jointly referred to hereinafter as bagologolo) is predicated on innovation and forward thinking while its name takes you back to the great wise people of the past generations. This is by design since all projects that bagologolo will be embarking on, must be founded on the past and the determination of bagologolo is to drive them into the future discarding inefficiencies and advancing sustainable and viable economic development propelled by secure information systems.
bagologolo projects will predominantly be derived from the neglected "antiquated" practices and systems and the chief task of bagologolo is to rekindle them in the context of current technological innovation for the benefit of the future generations. bagologolo also acknowledges that the past and current generations have achieved mixed prosperities and the aim is that going forward, the bad should not be recycled into the system - to the future generations. In a nutshell, bagologolo factors in the past experiences to the current in preparation for the better sustainable future.
bagologolo's core business core business is to develop information systems premised on Records Management and Transactions System (RMTS) project. Our role is to source funding and expertise that will lead into ultimate realisation in development, testing and implementation phases.
Our overriding selection criterion for non-core ancillary projects we take is, solely, based on whether the idea is geared towards the goals of sustainable development as it is generally understood. Our effort, in this regard, transcends the horizons in both extreme ends. The key drivers for bagologolo are innovation and invention working from the current and the past baselines. We innovate by devising solutions for the existing problems and pre-emptively invent our products for the foreseeable developmental needs and situations.
INVESTORS
Prospective investors are welcome to make expression of interest in the RMTS project. This project is the most elaborate and complex and therefore deserves dedication and attention to detail from us. The analysis and the high level design phases of the system has been done. Funding is needed for the development, testing and implementation phases taking into account that reiterative method may be considered throughout the project. The budget needed depends on the scale of development agreed upon and this is subject to overall evaluation of the system with the investors. It is a requirement for bagologolo to act in concert with its investors and in partnership with both the corporate and government sectors in pursuit of the current and future developmental needs of the business environment.
PROJECTS
Bagologolo works on projects identified internally, by the staff members, and externally, by the general public.
Our immediate priority, among all identified projects, is to ensure that Records Management & Transactions System (RMTS) is fully developed and implemented. In this regard investors are invited to make expression of interest in the RMTS project.
Once the RMTS is successfully implemented, bagologolo will proceed to open investment bidding for the other projects, namely, Mnk dairy product, Foundation phase beauty product and Fermentation industrial products.
Finally, bagologolo will strive to identify new projects in collaboration with its clients from both public and private sector. It is in this spirit that the general public is also invited to submit new projects proposals for consideration.
CORPORATE IDENTITY
bagologolo adage: "Maleka ga se makgona, makgona ke maboeletša". It means: One should work in quest to achieve the ideal, when the goal is achieved, one should keep on working in a quest to surpass the ideal without complacency.
bagologolo slogan: "bagologolo invented network" denotes that the network systems were invented by the wise generations of the past - bagologolo.
bagologolo colours:
Green: represents the sustainable green & clean working environment and methods.
Red: represents the "energy that can never be created nor destroyed but can only be changed from one form to another" - as stated by one of Bagologolo.
Blue: represents water and the wholesome earth.
White: represents the quest for ideal perfection.
